Elder James H. Kendrick, Jr. was called into the Gospel Ministry in December 1979 and
ordained May 5, 1985, under the leadership of Bishop Jerome H. Ross, Sr. (Triedstone Baptist
Church). He served on the Board of Trustees, Board of Christian Education, Voices of Triedstone,
and the Male Chorus of Triedstone Baptist Church. Elder Kendrick was a member of the Hampton Minister's Conference and the Eastern Union Missionary Baptist Association. He is a past member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, and Columbus Board of Realtors. He served on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Realtist Association as well as Chaplin of the Ohio Realtist Association and the Columbus Realtist Association. Elder Kendrick was called upon to open the Ohio Senate Session with the invocation in 1988. He served as Youth Church Pastor of Triedstone Baptist Church forming what is now known as the "Young Disciples of the Stone" (Y.D.S.), worked in the Bread of Life (feeding program), and Prison Ministries. Elder Kendrick currently serves as the "Assistant Pastor" of Triedstone Baptist Church and aids in any way that he can to equip the Saints of God to fulfill their potential in the Kingdom of God. He is the father of 3 Children and grandfather of 4. Elder Kendrick is the product of Columbus Public Schools and have had training in the "Upward Bound Program" @ Ohio Dominican College, Eastern Union Bible College, and Trinity Theological Seminary (Newburgh, Indiana). Above all, he has been "Called and Anointed by God." |
